♥ The Three of Hearts! ♥
What a great time to learn about the playing cards as Tim Burton’s new hit movie, Alice in Wonderland, plays in theaters around the world. One of my favorite characters from Lewis Carroll’s famous children’s story is the Caterpillar. In Disney’s animated movie, he engages Alice in an amusing but sometimes vexing conversation. The most memorable phrase in their exchange is the breathy “Whooo … are … you?” with exhalations of smoke in the shapes “O”, “R” and “U”. The answer to the question for Alice, and the rest of us, lies in The Cards of Life. Today we are exploring The Three of Hearts ♥.

This card is known as the “Variety in Love Card” and represents the departure of man and woman from the Garden of Eden. Here the union of the first two cards of the deck–The Ace and The Two of Hearts–step into the world of duality and confusion. The Three is full of unlimited potentiality. Like that of children, its creativity abounds. Yet, like most threes of the deck, too much creativity creates lots of indecision for people of this Birth Card. The Three of Hearts 3♥ birthdays are November 30th and December 28th. Because of their first Karma Card (The Ace of Hearts A♥) they want love and can never seem to get enough. They think about love all the time and are much like The Ace and Two of Hearts we have discussed in previous newsletters. They lean towards love and romance throughout their lives, often asking, “Will I be loved?” When you combine this with their 10♠ in Mars in their Life Spread, you end up with people who have a strong drive towards a career that will give them recognition.
Some of The Three of Hearts 3♥ celebrities include comic-book creator Stan Lee, actor Denzel Washington, actor Efrem Zimbalist Jr., actor Robert Guillaume, TV personality Dick Clark, singer Billy Idol, actor Martin Milner (Adam 12), actress Nichelle Nichols (Star Trek), actress Maggie Smith, singer-keyboardist Edgar Winter, guitarist-singer Alex Chilton, country singer Joe Diffie, comedian Seth Meyers, singer John Legend, actress Sienna Miller, actress Mackenzie Rosman (7th Heaven), American Idol runner-up David Archuleta, Rapper Jalil of Whodini, actor-director Ben Stiller, actress Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy, Sideways), singer Clay Aiken, and many more.
Because there are so many celebrities and creative artists, musicians, poets and authors with this Birth Card, I decided to focus on the main characteristics of the card itself for this week’s issue. As you can see by the list of names, The Three of Hearts 3♥ people are very charming and attractive people and have no trouble attracting others to love them. Their challenge comes once they find someone. They are usually attracted to those who are witty and highly intelligent, but often someone who is just as indecisive as themselves. The Three of Hearts 3♥ person can be the most fickle in the deck, rooted in emotional conflicts and fear of commitment. However, this same energy can result in a profound ability to speak and express themselves. The Three of Hearts 3♥ person is here to learn about love through experimenting with all sorts of relationship variations and ideas. Through their experiences, they can obtain the wisdom that brings sureness to their decisions.
The major lesson for most Threes is that intimacy needs some form of commitment. Intimacy–to get close to another person that we can feel and enjoy the depths of their love–is what most of us want at some point in our lives. Two other lessons for people with Three of Hearts 3♥ Card is overcoming their fear of poverty and learning to translate indecision into creativity in their work or business. Their financial lack–real or imagined–stems from their indecision about what is most important to them in life. Many of them have so many ideas of what to do and what they want that they never finish what they start or accumulate enough to feel financially secure.
The answer to many of their challenges lies in a certain amount of change and the ability to travel, especially in their careers. This allows these eternally inquisitive and mentally well-equipped people to thrive in the more male-ruled companies and associations. Once they learn that, they will find great fulfillment and have more peace and satisfaction in their lives! Bravo! Thank you to The Three of Hearts 3♥ celebrities who have entertained us and enriched our lives as they play out their roles on the world stage called “Life!” Thank you to all The Three of Hearts 3♥ people in our lives for being “Whooo… you…are!”
